GROUP VIOLIN (Beginners)
Ages 4-12
This class introduces students to the fundamentals of violin playing: posture, holding the violin and bow, basic technique, scales and tone production. Absolute beginners will be able to play at least one tune by the session's end.
Classes are 45 minutes and meet weekly for 8 weeks, May 4 — June 22. $150, 4:00-4:45 PM REGISTER

GROUP CHAMBER MUSIC FOR STRINGS
Separate Sections available for ADULTS and for KIDS
This ensemble is for students comfortable with playing the violin (or viola or
cello) and reading music; all levels are absolutely encouraged, and you will
be put together with people of a similar level. Chamber music provides an invaluable learning experience because of the way it challenges each student to produce independent musical lines in harmony with each other, enhancing skills such as phrasing, counting, intonation, tone colors, rhythm, cooperation and responsibility. Repertoire will be from all genres; come and be prepared to make great music together!
Classes are 60 minutes and meet weekly for 8 weeks
